Took my first helicopter ride with Shane around the Big Island of Hawaii and thoroughly enjoyed it! We saw oodles of waterfalls and lush green forests where it would be extremely difficult to traverse by foot and impossible by car. We saw numerous whales in the ocean, too! Shane was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed our trip with him! Our flight was part of a 2-pt tour where we went to Volcano National Park with Deborah first and then on the flight. Deborah was also very knowledgeable and I highly recommend her for a tour. She works with Hawaii Forest and Trail. Thank you for a wonderful day!
My wife and I had an absolutely amazing time during our tour. Our pilot, James, was an absolute pleasure and was very knowledgeable throughout the experience. We were unable to get to the active volcano due to weather. They offered us our money back, but we chose to allow James to show us around his favorite sites on the island instead and we certainly don’t regret it. We’d highly recommend this excursion during your stay on the big island!
