What an incredible experience! I don't know another way to access and appreciate the beauty and vastness of Mount Wai'ale'ale, Napali coast, Waimea canyon and the many waterfalls except by helicopter. The helicopter ride was so smooth and comfortable with great visibility. Our pilot, Alex, was a fun mix of information and personal anecdotes. I loved every minute, but my favorite part was seeing the whale and her calf as we were cruising the coastline. I also appreciated the pictures and video taken by the crew and helicopter to add to my own. There were some hiccups, but I felt Blue Hawaiian was very professional and responsive in addressing them. For example, our flight was cancelled due to weather. Greg, in particular, worked diligently to get us rescheduled. We had upgraded to the front seats but did not get them on the rescheduled flight. Our refund was already processed by the time we returned from our tour. We purchased the video and pictures taken by the crew and helicopter. The pictures of us in the helicopter were missing on the flash drive. One email and we received the missing photos. I originally scheduled the tour through TripAdvisor/Viator. I did not receive any communication leading up to the tour. I contacted Blue Hawaiian directly, had my first interaction with Greg who answered all my questions and made sure I received direct communication from then on. The trip description on TripAdvisor is not accurate. It mentioned flying over Poipu and descending into a crater. These did not happen. If I had it to do over, I would book through Blue Hawaiian directly. This was a big ticket item during our vacation, but I felt it was worth it. I would highly recommend to anyone able to do it and would not hesitate to take another trip with Blue Hawaiian.

Would give them 6 stars if I could. We had an exceptional experience. Our pilot, Mike, was awesome! We saw a bunch of whale which was super cold. Mike was great at pointing them out since they were way smaller than we expected. He made sure to rotate which side was able to see them so nobody missed out. The playlist was fire. The staff that worked with us before and after the flight was amazing as well. The safety briefing was informative.

Incredible experience! It's a unique opportunity; seeing Maui from above is breathtaking, it gives you goosebumps. The tour is very comprehensive; as you fly over the island, the pilot explains its vegetation, culture, and wildlife. It's a worthwhile cultural journey that allows you to connect with and appreciate the treasures hidden within the island.

We had an epic trip with Blue Hawaiian and Tim and as our pilot. The whole team was warm and professional. Tim took us on a flight of a lifetime. It was a bucket list item for us and it did not disappoint!

This helicopter tour is a very special experience. In addition to breathtaking views of the island that aren't possible to see any other way, our pilot shared a wealth of knowledge about the history, culture, nature, and wildlife of Hawaii that could easily fill a university lecture (but done in a much more fast and entertaining way). I am glad they offer recordings of both the view and the conversation so it's possible to relive the experience and go back over the info shared. It also allowed me to take in the experience without feeling like I needed to have my phone out to document it (which I would have done much more poorly than their wonderful photography). Well done Tim!!!

I am fortunate to have been on multiple helicopter rides with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and it was been amazing every single time. I have done the Big Island twice, Maui to Molokai once, and Oahu once. Recently, my fiancée and I were gifted the waterfall landing experience on the Big Island and wow, it was spectacular. From the booking process to the ride, everything was seamless. We were most impressed with our helicopter pilot, Kai for the incredibly talented landing job he did next to the waterfall. It is was truly a dream. I highly recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters to everyone. It has always been very safe and an amazing experience every time we have the opportunity to go. Ask for Kai on the Big Island!

Beautiful tour. Seeing places not seen by most visitors .so comfortable and safe. Very much a thing to do when in Hawaii

Amazing! Tim was our pilot for the Hana Rainforest ride and it was incredible. He was a wealth of information and a great sense of humor. We definitely recommend…awesome!

A safe, organized, and exciting way to see Hawai’i not accessible any other way. Chewy was our pilot…safe, calm, informative…exactly the kind of pilot you want.
